This eco-label identifies the products with emissions classes (A +, A, B, C) based on the results of the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emission tests according to the ISO 16000 standards series.
Limit values are established for the emission classes that refer to the cumulative value of total emissions, as well as the 10 harmful substances that must be evaluated and which are:
- Formaldehyde
- Acetaldehyde
- Toluene
- Tetrachloroethylene
- Xylene
- 1,2,4- Trimethylbenzene
- 1,4- Dichlorobenzene
- Ethylbenzene
- 2-butoxyethanol
- Styrol
The mark A+, marks all products that have virtually no emissions.
They are granted to those construction materials that contribute to a healthy habitat that respects the environment, for the defense and protection in a residential environment, in the face of the harmful effects on the health of construction and decoration materials.
